14.3 Restoring to Factory Default Settings
Please refer to the corresponding section of your camera type and follow
the steps to restore factory default settings.
Box Camera

1. Unplug the power cable and the network cable to start.
2. Press and hold the Default button (No. 3, Figure 2-1) on the back
panel of the camera.
3. Power on the camera using the power cable or the PoE cable. The
status LED on the front panel of the camera turns red.
4. Wait until the status LED turns off. This will take about 10 seconds.
5. Soon after the status LED turns off, it turns red again and a clicking
sound appears. Then you can release the
Default button and the
process of loading default values is completed.

1. Unplug the power cable and the network cable to start.
2. Press and hold the Default button (No. 10, Figure 2-2) on the back
panel of the camera.
3. Power on the camera using the power cable or the PoE cable. The
status LED on the front panel of the camera turns on and then off
twice. This will take about 30 seconds.
4. Release the Default button and the process of loading default values
is completed.
