OPERATION
3.1
Starting
Before starting the generator perform the tests before commissioning, in
accordance with Section 2.5.
In particular, check the following:
- Motor oil level
- Fuel level
- Consumer connection
During operation, keep the generator closed. It should not be taken inside
the house.
Risk of injury from rotating parts.

Emergency shut-off (Position 19-16), if necessary, unlock by pulling or
turning.

If necessary, turn on the circuit breakers (Position 19-12, 19-13).

Turn the key switch to the „START“ position (Position 20-9).

If necessary, press and hold the „preglow button”) (Position 20-7) for ap-
proximately 1 minute.

Press the start button (Position 20-9) until the motor starts.
Do not operate the starter for more than 10 seconds per start attempt.
Before the next start attempt let the starter cool for at least 30 seconds.
Never operate the starter when the motor is running.
– Risk of broken cog-tooth on the starter

The connected consumers can now be turned on.

Emergency power operation (option)

Emergency shut-off switch (Position 19-16), if necessary, unlock by pulling or
turning.

If necessary, turn the circuit breakers (Position 19-12, 19-13) on.

The BLC 200 is connected to the terminal for the control line (Position 16-15).
The generator is now controlled by the BLC 200.
