1 .4 .9 Creating a Truck “Weigh Out” Ticket with Copy.
A “weigh out” ticket can only be printed if a “weigh in” ticket has first been created. The “weigh out”
ticket can either be printed upon the same ticket that was used for the “weigh in” or it can be printed
upon a new ticket. In any event, the GS8920 will have been set up during installation to provide the
correct line feeds for proper placement of the information upon the ticket without overwriting the
“weigh in” data.
A truck is “weighed out” and a “weigh out” ticket printed following operation of the
WEIGH OUT
key.
The weight used can either come directly from the weight indicator or have been built up by “end to
end” weighing by use of the
SUM
key. The accumulator to which the weights will be added should be
selected before the
WEIGH OUT
key is operated. If ID numbers are to be printed then these must
have been entered before operating the
WEIGH OUT
key.
The tare weight or gross weight used for the “weigh out” ticket will be recalled from the tare register
into which it was saved at the “weigh in”. Only tare register numbers which contain a “weigh in”
weight can be used at the “weigh out”. At the “weigh out”, the gross weight either from the digital
weight indicator or the summation register is automatically compared with the weight saved at the
“weigh in” and the larger of the two weights is made the gross weight with the smaller the tare weight.
The net weight is calculated and printed on the ticket along with the gross and tare weights.
