1 .4 .11 Listing the Contents of the Accumulators and Tare Register.
In addition to its use for printing ID numbers and summation values, the
key can be used as a
function key to initiate a listing of the GS8920’s accumulators. Following operation of the
key
the GS8920 can provide a listing of :-
The contents of the currently active accumulator.
The contents of all of the tare registers.
The contents of all of the 50 accumulator registers.
The contents of the Security Register.
The GS8920 will automatically ask for a new sheet of paper as it fills each with data and it will also
number each page so that the proper sequence for the data is retained.
The GS8920 has a remote interlock facility that may be used to prevent printout of the contents of the
accumulators and Security Register. If the interlock is active then the message
-Locd-
will be
displayed on any attempt to list these registers. The interlock does not prevent a list of the tare registers
from being obtained.
To obtain a list insert a ticket or a sheet of paper into the GS8920 and key
and when the
prompt message
-Prn-
is displayed press the key for the data to be printed.
