1 .4 .2 Entering and Printing ID Numbers.
The GS8920 has one permanent ID number register and 9 temporary ID registers. The permanent ID
number, which may be entered at any time, is retained in memory and always printed at the top of a
ticket. The temporary ID numbers are not retained in memory but are loaded into the GS8920’s print
buffer when the
key is operated.
Temporary ID numbers which are to appear at the top of a ticket must be keyed in immediately before
operation of either the
SUM
key or the ticket printing keys
AC +
,
AC -
,
WEIGH IN
or
WEIGH
OUT
.
Provided the
key is operated instead of the
ENTER
key, then the ID number will be placed
in the print buffer for later printing at the top of the ticket rather than saved in place of the original
permanent ID number.
The GS8920’s permanent ID number will be printed if it is not zero.
The ID numbers which are placed into the print buffer only remain there for printing on the next ticket,
after which they are cleared.
