4.6.2.2 Safety Valve assembly
Valve body assembly
For the valve body assembly, proceed as follows:
a)
LQVHUWWKHJDVNHWLQLWVKRXVLQJLQWKHÀDQJHRULQWKHKHDGLWLVUHFRPPHQGHGWRXVHD
suitable lubricant to facilitate assembly operations;
b) Arrange the valve seat (14) for the assembly: place inside the safety valve the ball (13) and the
O-Ring (10) ;
c) Insert on the valve body (19)

(16) and place the half rings (15)

the same position;
d) Insert the seat (14) already arranged on the valve body and keep it on its position using the

16) on the stud bolts and manually screw the nuts (17) , in order to correctly
lock the valve;
f) When the valve is in its correct position, before tightening the nuts (17) , make sure the reassembled
discharge pipe does not interfere with any part of the machine.
WARNING
For safety reasons, the discharge pipe must always be opened and directed downward.
g) Screw the nuts (17) .
Discharge pipe assembly
For the discharge pipe assembly, proceed as follows :

recommended to use a suitable lubricant;
b) Take the discharge pipe extension (8) and insert the nut (5) (make sure the threaded part of the
nut (5) is directed towards the outside, as shown in the drawing);
c) Manually screw the discharge pipe extension (8) turning it clockwise till the threaded hole on the body;

e) Insert the O-Ring (7) inside the seat on the discharge pipe connection;
f) Take the discharge pipe (6)

holding it on its correct position. Make sure the end of the pipe (6) is directed downward;
g) Screw the nut (5)
