Reconnect the drive cables using your notes from Step 3. The red-striped
edge of the data ribbon cable indicates Pin 1 and corresponds with Pin 1
on the drive (typically on the side farthest from the power supply
connection). See the drive documentation for further instructions.

Close the case by following the instructions in “Closing the case” on
page 161 .
Adding or replacing a 3.5-inch drive in the
expansion bay
Use these instructions to add or replace a 3.5-inch drive in the expansion bay.
To add or replace a 3.5-inch drive in the expansion bay:

Identify your computer case style. For more information, see “Identifying
your computer case style” on page 106 .

Open the case by following the instructions in “Opening the case” on
page 158 .
