(from lowest to highest). Each drive should have a drive number label
affixed to the front of it. The drive number on the label should correspond
to the SCSI ID of the device

Active termination
Every SCSI subsystem must be terminated at both ends for proper
operation. Refer to the documentation supplied with your controller for
instructions on how to properly terminate the controller.
Terminate the other end of the SCSI subsystem by setting JP1 on the RAID
cage backplane. This jumper provides active termination on the SCSI bus.
Active termination is enabled by default (no jumper block on the jumper).
Disable active termination by installing a jumper block on JP1.
Termination power must also be set. Jumper JP11 sets the source of
termination power. A jumper block on pins 1 and 2 draws termination
power from the backplane, which is the default. Moving the jumper block to
pins 2 and 3 draws termination power from the SCSI bus.
Delay Start
Jumper JP9 controls the drive start sequence for the RAID cage. The
default setting, no jumper block on JP9, enables autostart. If you want the
drives to delay their start, install a jumper block on JP9. In general, a system
with more than three drives should use delayed start to prevent an overload
at the power supply.
