Keyboard features submenu
In the table below, the settable features of the keyboard controller are listed
along with the options.
Advanced menu
You can make the selections listed in the table below on the Advanced
Menu itself. Refer to “PCI configuration submenu” on page 85, “I/O device
configuration submenu” on page 86, and “Advanced chipset control
submenu” on page 88 for information on the three other selections that
appear on the Advanced Menu.

Off Selects the power on state for the

Enabled Enables or disables key click.
Keyboard auto-
repeat rate 30, 26.7, 21.8, 18.5, 13.3, 10,
6, or 2 per second Selects the key repeat rate.
Keyboard auto-
repeat delay 1/4 sec
1/2 sec
3/4 sec
1 sec Selects the delay before the keys
begin to repeat.
