C.2.11 SafeTaxi Functional Check (if activated)
1.
Power on the G900X in Normal mode.
2.
Select the “AUX – System Status” page on the MFD.
3.
Verify the following SafeTaxi database information appears:
•
REGION
•
VERSION
•
CYCLE
•
EFFECTIVE
•
EXPIRES
4.
Select the Navigation Map page.
5.
Press the MENU key.
6.
Select “Map Setup” and press the ENT key.
7.
Select “Aviation Group” and press the ENT key.
8.
Using the FMS knob select “SAFETAXI”.
9.
Using the FMS knob select the range of distances.
10.
Using the FMS knob select “5000ft” and press the ENT key.
11.
Verify the SafeTaxi display represents the current aircraft location and airport layout.
