B.1.3 System Rack Attachment Options
•
All system racks, audio panel brackets, and ¼ turn receptacles should be assembled to instrument
panel prior to painting the instrument panel, as shown in Figure B-1.
•
The system racks can be attached to the panel using screws (see Figure B-2) or rivets (see
Figure B-2).
•
It is strongly recommended that all LRU racks be assembled to the main system racks before
mounting the system racks to the aircraft.
•
Nutplate kits are only required if screws are used. If rivets are used the nutplate kits are not
needed.
