This Field...
Displays...
Routes Received
How many routes the Layer 3 Switch has received from the neighbor
during the current BGP4 session.
•
Accepted/Installed – Indicates how many of the received routes
the Layer 3 Switch accepted and installed in the BGP4 route
table.
•
Filtered – Indicates how many of the received routes the Layer 3
Switch did not accept or install because they were denied by
filters on the Layer 3 Switch.
Routes Selected as BEST Routes
The number of routes that the Layer 3 Switch selected as the best
routes to their destinations.
BEST Routes not Installed in IP
Forwarding Table
The number of routes received from the neighbor that are the best
BGP4 routes to their destinations, but were nonetheless not installed
in the IP route table because the Layer 3 Switch received better
routes from other sources (such as OSPF, RIP, or static IP routes).
Unreachable Routes
The number of routes received from the neighbor that are
unreachable because the Layer 3 Switch does not have a valid RIP,
OSPF, or static route to the next hop.
History Routes
The number of routes that are down but are being retained for route
flap dampening purposes.
NLRIs Received in Update Message
The number of routes received in Network Layer Reachability (NLRI)
format in UPDATE messages.
•
Withdraws – The number of withdrawn routes the Layer 3 Switch
has received.
•
Replacements – The number of replacement routes the Layer 3
Switch has received.
