What is i-mode?
The i-mode service allows you to use an
i-mode-compatible FOMA terminal (i-mode ter-
minal) display to access online services such as
i-mode mail and connection to the Internet and
i-mode sites (programs).
■
Accessing a site (program)
Select an option from the i-mode menu to use a
range of online services provided by your IP (in-
formation service provider) such as weather re-
port and news. In addition, download and enjoy
games or images for the standby screen.
■
Internet access
Enter URLs on your i-mode terminal to access a
wide range of i-mode-compatible websites.
■
i-mode mail
Exchange e-mail messages up to 5,000 double-
byte characters long not only with another i-mode
terminal but with anyone who has an Internet e-
mail address. In addition, exchange and enjoy
Deco-mail messages, still images and movies.
Accessing a site (program)
Simple key operations allow you to access sites
provided by IPs (information service providers)
and use various online services.
For instance, you can check your bank account
balance, transfer money, reserve tickets, read
news, use online dictionaries or download ring
tones.

Viewing sites
When you connect to the i-mode center, the
