Maintenance and care
During each maintenance process:

Check the
backlash
of the piston rod for wear of the spindle nut.

Wear on the DNCE-...-BS leads in the long term to increased noise and
later to blockage of the threaded drive.

Warning
Uncontrolled moving masses can cause injury to people or damage to property
(squeezing). If a worn spindle nut breaks on a vertically or diagonally fitted DNCE, the
work mass will fall down.
•
If the permissible backlash is exceeded, send the DNCE to Festo for repair.
•
If necessary, clean the DNCE with a soft cloth.
Cleaning agents: Any gentle detergent.
•
Lubricate the piston rod if the latter no longer has a layer of grease (grease
10 Accessories).

Repair
•
Recommendation: Return the DNCE to our repair service for overhaul.
This ensures that special attention will be paid to the necessary fine adjustments and inspections.
