Operation
Warning
Moving masses can cause personal injury and
material damage (crushing).
•
Make sure that, in the positioning range,
–
nobody can place his/her hand in the path
of moving components (e.g. by providing a
protective screen),
–
there are no foreign objects.
It should not be possible to touch the DNCE
until the mass has come to a complete
standstill.

For installation in a vertical or inclined position:
Warning
Risk of injury to people and damage to property.
If there is a spindle nut fracture inside the DNCE or
a toothed belt breaks when using parallel kit
EAMM-...-U (e. g. due to wear), the work mass will
fall down.
•
Check whether additional external safety
measures against spindle nut fracture are
necessary (e.g. toothed latches or moving
bolts).
•
If the permitted backlash is exceeded, replace
the spindle nut and the spindle if necessary.
•
Examine the toothed belt of the parallel kit
regularly for wear
(
Parallel kit assembly instructions).

If the motor turns in the wrong direction:
Note
When the clamping element is loosened the motor
can be rotated on its longitudinal axis. The
reference position will then be lost.
•
Start homing in order to determine the new
homing position (
6 Commissioning).
