If an MTR-DCI motor unit is used:
Note
•
Only use suitable proximity sensors. These can be found in the catalogue under
product accessories (
www.festo.com/catalogue).
Otherwise malfunctions in the switching operation can occur.
Note
Heavy tensile loads may cause the flange screws to be pulled out.
•
Please note that the DNCE must
not
be fastened solely by the end cap when used
with high loads.
•
Provide additional mounting points.
•
Make sure that the device is mounted free of mechanical
stress and distortion (evenness of mounting surface
≤ 0.2 mm).
•
Position the DNCE in such a way that all of the operating
elements are accessible and the pressure compensation
opening
5
is not covered.
•
Secure the DNCE in place with the mounting accessories
(
10 Accessories).
•
Tighten the mounting screws evenly.

If using the variant DNCE-...-P5:
Note
When using foot mount HNCE-...-AX the drive shaft of the DNCE-...- P5 can slip through
due to insufficient coverage of the coupling claws.
•
Secure the DNCE-...-P5 in place by using the permitted mounting accessories
(e.g. profile mount EAHF-V1
www.festo.com/catalogue).
Pressurising and exhausting the pressure compensation opening for variant DNCE-...-P5:
•
Screw a fitting into the threaded hole
5
.
•
Use tubing for supplying fresh air.
The exhausting process should be conducted in a protected
area (free from dust and moisture) or in a large pressure
reservoir. Alternatively, a slight excess pressure can be ap-
plied as sealing air.
