Connecting the field bus
Please note
Please note that only the Festo plug complies with protec-
tion class IP 65.
Use plastic conduit-thread connectors for fitting the field
bus plug. This creates better resistance to environmental
influences.
There is a 9-pin sub-D socket on the Local control unit for
connecting it to the field bus. This connection serves for the
supply cable as well as for the continuing field bus cable. You
can connect the Local control unit with the sub-D plug from
Festo (part no. 18529).
