Carburetor Cleaning
To prevent serious injury
or death resulting from
explosion or fire, discon-
nect the battery negative (-) cable.

To prepare for carburetor service:
a) Disconnect fuel hose at fuel filter and plug ends to
prevent contamination. Empty carburetor by run-
ning engine until it stops from lack of fuel.
b) Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery to pre-
vent electrical short that could ignite fuel vapor.
c) Wash engine and chassis to remove dirt build-up.
d) Follow carburetor removal and service procedures
outlined in HONDA
