Description of the operating

modes

MANUAL

Dosing is not automatically controlled in the MANUAL mode. The
values must be continuously monitored.

The MANUAL mode is used:

• In the event of any possible system faults
• during maintenance/cleaning work or while checking the

system

Please note

The MANUAL mode leads to:

The pumps are off, the positioner remains in its current position, if
necessary unlock the positioner and close either by hand or with
the Man.dos. menu.

AUTOMATIC

Automatically controls the measured variables acc. to the selected
application

STOP

STOP mode is automatically activated:

• When the sample water flow is faulty
• When a stop signal is received via the digital inputs

After activation:

• Pumps off, positioner closed, mA analog output 0 %

If the stop conditions are no longer active, the system
automatically switches to automatic mode.

ADAPTION

ADAPTION mode is activated, if the adaption is started for the Cl

2

single feedback closed-loop control.
