Detection Description The printer detected multiple cards at the card sensors in the reverse
assembly.

the Main board

Harnesses from the Card Sensor (Reverse Assembly Outlet) ( SN3 ) to the

the Main board

the Main board

1.
Check the reaction of the following sensors in the sensor check mode
of the service mode (page 27 ).

Detection Description The printer detected a card jam at the Magnetic R/W Unit.

[Remedy]
1.
Check the reaction of the Card Sensor (Magnetic R/W) ( SN4 ) in the
sensor check mode of the service mode (page 27 ).
2.
Check/replace the related harness/cable, connector and parts.
30-XX Error Message Card Jam Print
Outline Secondary transfer assembly card jam error
Detection Description The printer detected a card jam at the Card Sensor (Reverse Assembly Outlet)
( SN3 ).
Remedy [Related parts]
• Harnesses from the Card Sensor (Reverse Assembly Outlet) ( SN3 ) to the
Main board
•
Harnesses from the Card Feed Motor (Secondary Transfer Assembly)
( HB1 ) to the Main board
• Card Sensor (Reverse Assembly Outlet) ( SN3 )
•
Card Feed Motor (Secondary Transfer Assembly) ( HB1 )
•
Main board
[Remedy]
1.
Check the card position at the jam error occurrence. If the card is
delivered to the roller of the reverse assembly, the Card Feed Motor
(Reverse Assembly) ( PM2 ) may indicate failure. Refer to error code 23-
XX.
2.
Check the reaction of the Card Sensor (Reverse Assembly Outlet)
( SN3 ) in the sensor check mode of the service mode (page 27 ).
3.
Check the reaction of the Card Feed Motor (Secondary Transfer
Assembly) ( HB1 ) in the action check mode of the service mode (page
27 ). If it is operating properly, clean the card feed roller.
4.
Check/replace the related harness/cable, connector and parts.
