Fabric Zoning
Task 2: Define Zone
Sets
A zone set is a collection of zones that you can activate or deactivate
as a single entity across all directors in a multiswitch fabric or on one
director in a single switch fabric. Devices in each zone are identified
using the steps in Task 1: Create Zones on page 4-6.
Configure up to 256 zones in a zone set and up to 64 zone sets using
the following steps:
1. From either the Zoning View or Topology View, move your
cursor over the Configure icon and select Zone Sets from the
pop-up menu.
This displays the Zone Sets dialog box.

The Zone Set Library displays all the defined zone sets. Click the
magnifying glass icon next to a zone set to expand the list of
zones included in the set. Click the magnifying glass icon next to
a zone to expand the list of members included in the zone. If zone
sets are not defined, this library is empty.
2. Move your cursor over the Actions icon and click New on the
pop-up menu. This displays the following dialog box.
