Connectrix Manager Administration
To test remote notification:
1. In the Connectrix Manager’s navigation control panel, move your
cursor over the Maintenance icon and select Test Remote
Notifications
from the pop-up menu.
This displays the following dialog box:

You can check remote notification for one or both remote
communication methods.
2. To test the call-home feature, check Call Home.
3. To test the E-mail notification feature, check E-Mail.
4. Click Send Test. This displays a message box indicating that the
test was initiated.

5. Click OK to close this box.
Configure Ethernet
Events To configure Ethernet events for all managed products, you can
enable notification and configure the Ethernet event timeout period
through the Connectrix Manager. An Ethernet event is when the
Ethernet link between the Connectrix service processor and the
managed product is dropped. You can set a specific time interval for
an event to be generated after the communication drops.
