Setting the ED-1032 Network Addresses
Gateway Address
Set the gateway address at the operator panel. Use the IP address of
the LAN segment router, obtained from the network administrator.
1. Press Advance until the gateway address appears on the status
display:
The default gateway address is 0.0.0.0 (none configured). The
address is always in the form xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, where xxx is a
decimal in the range 0 through 255. Do not use all 0s or all 255s.
If the ED-1032 is connected to the data center Ethernet, the default
gateway address is not valid and must be changed.
2. Press Clear to activate the cursor over the right-most octet.
3. Press Detail to increment to the desired value. To increment digits
rapidly, hold down the button for more than a second.
4. Press Entry to enter the new value.
5. Press Clear to move one field to the left.
6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for all fields to be changed. (Repeating
step 5 is not necessary after changing the left-most field; pressing
Entry
after changing that field saves the new gateway address.)
