Connectrix Manager Administration
Whenever Connectrix Manager displays WWNs, it uses any existing
nicknames instead of the associated 16-character hexidecimal values.
This can be a highly effective tool for quickly understanding and
diagnosing the environment when using the Connectrix Manager.
To configure nicknames:
1. In the Connectrix Manager’s navigation control panel, move your
cursor over the Configure icon, then click Nicknames on the
pop-up menu.
This displays the Configure Nicknames dialog box, with existing
nicknames that have already been configured.

Do not modify the WWN in the Configure Nickname dialog box. Use
the Add Nickname function to make these changes.
The left column in the dialog box shows the worldwide name,
while the right column shows the assigned nickname.
2. Click Add to add a new nickname. This displays the following
dialog box.
