6.2 INTERFACES
Note - driver software for PC.
Driver-software and driver-manuals
are located at the ELABO Support CD, enclosed to the device
manual. The interface and the control commands are described in
the separate manual „Remote control via RS232/Ethernet".
6.2.1 Ethernet-INTERFACE X9
The Ethernet-interface is installed in the device as the standard interface.
The tester receives the control commands via interface X9. Additional, the
firmware update of the touch display module is possible via X9 (see also
chapter 13 ELABO Lite Software).
6.2.2 USB-NTERFACE X9
The USB-interface is installed in the device as optional interface (replace-
ment for the Ethernet-interface).
6.2.3
RS232 INTERFACE X9
The USB-interface is installed in the device as optional interface (replace-
ment for the Ethernet-interface). The 9-pin D-SUB socket X9 is provided
for the connection to a control computer. The connections DTR, DSR,
DCD are not essential necessary.
6.2.4
Service-INTERFACE X9a (RS232)
Use the service-interface X9a exclusive for updating the firmware of the
control unit of the tester, via the ELABO Light Software (Chapt. 13).
The occupation of X9a see fig. 6.2.
Note: The control of the tester via X9a is not possible, use interface
X9 for this.
