14. Fast-Start-Mode
After testing time has elapsed, the control value of the AC voltage source
is reduced to zero and turned off the electronic overload relay. The residual
voltage monitoring must not be ignored for security reasons.
The main difference to normal operation is that the two mechanical over-
load relays for the safety circuits are not opened and the unit does not
return at the end of the test sequence to the default state. Instead, the
device prepares for the next test and waits in the prepared state for the
next start of the following test circuit. In the next test hook-on, the stored
setting value is jumped directly to if the unit does not have to re-program.
In the prepared standby condition can be left without error the test se-
quence chain by a stop signal, and the unit returns to the initial state.
Occurs during the test run an error, the unit will exit the test run chain and
always returns to the default state. Then the error, as well as during nor-
mal operation, must be acknowledged. The next circuit runs as described
above in the initial state.
14.11 MORE FEATURES:
The response to a start command ($SST) is the status string of the com-
mand $LTS, which is generated automatically at the end of circuit and
contains all test results. An additional polling of the device status during
the test is not necessary.
The internal result storage is always switched off.
A hood pulse is only generated after the completion of the test circuit or
in case of errors (-> device is now in state NONE), since it automatically
opens the safety circuit and therefore during the test circuit (-> READY
state) gives a safety circuit fault.
