14. Fast-Start-Mode
for the two safety circuits (HV and IS), the setting of the test voltage (HV)
within a very small control window (without overshoot), the switching to the
optimum range (IS) as well as residual voltage monitoring when switching
off the test voltage (HV_DC).
In the fast-start mode precious total time should be saved exactly to the
above mentioned tasks.
14.5 ACTIVATING FAST START MODE:
The operating mode Fast Start Mode can be switched on/off either via
the setup menu in the display (Fig. 10:40 ff) or over the command $SCM1
(bit_2). At enabled mode, the control windows can be adjusted in addition,
this has a positive effect on a shorter total time ($SDM2(...) or setup menu).
HV:
lowest value: -1000V ... 0V
highest value: 0V to 1000V ... (at least 20V
Δ
U)
IS:
lowest value: -1000V ... 0V
highest value: 0V to 1000V ... (at least 20V
Δ
U).
14.6 PARAMETERIZATION OF THE TEST:
One command was generated for the types of test HV and IS, which con-
tains all relevant test parameters for the test. A special feature is that the
test time in Fast Start Mode is limited to max. 5 seconds (no endurance
test possible). Also, the voltage ramp up and voltage return down should
be turned off.
14.7 TEACHING THE UNIT:
Before the first start of a test, the unit must be set the optimal control
value of the AC source. This is necessary for the operating point, to ob-
tain the optimal test voltage (for HV) respectively the optimum range (for
ISO). Before the first start, the command "$TEACH" or in the display the
button "Teach" can be operated. The unit determines in the next circuit
the value and stores it permanently. The value is available in the memory
even after turning off the unit . The device can also be taught again any
time between the hook-on. At the end of the circuit, an additional routine
weighted the actual control value and adjusts the stored value adaptively.
The adaptively determined control values are not saved.
It is also
important
that a representative test item is connected to the
device.
