3 Installation

3.1 Introduction

This chapter describes the installation and electrical connection of 
Rapid Link 5 modules RAMO5 and RASP5.

3.2 Instruction leaflets

The installation instructions in this manual apply to RAMO5 and RASP5 units 
with standard equipment and IP65 protection class.

Refer to the appropriate RAMO5 or RASP5 instruction leaflets for the 
required installation instructions.

During installation and mounting, cover or tape over the plug-in 
connectors in the control and power sections to prevent foreign 
bodies from entering them.
On RASP5 units it is also advisable to protect the cooling fins 
and, if fitted, the fan from ingress of foreign bodies.

Perform all installation work using only the specified, proper 
tools and without the use of excessive force.
