Delete an Active Area
You may delete an active area that you no longer want to use on a particular visual scene. To delete an
active area on a visual scene, follow these steps:
Note:
If you are in the process of creating the visual scene, then the visual scene is the active
page and the software is already in Modify mode. Skip to step 3.
1.
Make sure that the visual scene that you want to edit is the open page.
2.
Select the Modify button in the title bar. The buttons for editing visual scenes will appear.
Note:
When the M3 software is in Modify mode, all active areas on the visual scene are only
shown by small black corner markings. The currently-selected active area will be outlined in
blue, with white boxes (“handles”) at the corners and the midpoint of each border).

Select the active area on the page. The blue border and white handles will become visible.
4.
Select the Delete Active Area button in the title bar.
5.
Select the
Yes
button to confirm the deletion.
6.
Select the Modify button in the title bar to return the M3 software to normal communications
mode.
7.
Select the Setup button in the title bar. The
M3 Setup
menu will open.
8.
Select the
Save Data to Card
button.
9.
Select the
OK
button to confirm that you want to save page data.
10. Select the
OK
button to close the
M3 Setup
menu.
