Prepare Your Computer (Task 4)

To prepare your computer for the installation of the Wi-Q Interface Software, you must do
the following:

Ensure that your system is equipped with an appropriate operating system, database
and server.

Configure your Windows Firewall Ports.

Obtain your Wi-Q Gateway Accessory Add-On.

Stop your Communication Server (if required).

Install your Wi-Q Gateway Accessory Add-On

It is recommended that you follow the tasks above in the order that they are presented in
this guide.

Note

You must have administrative rights on your computer to perform many of the tasks listed

here.
