PROBLEM
PROBABLE CAUSE
SOLUTIONS
Loss of corn sillage under
the crack rolls.
Deflectors on front half bot-
tom plate are worn.
Rear bottom plate not
properly adjusted.
Hay silage residue has ac-
cumulated over both crack
roll half bottom plates.
Replace deflectors.
Make adjustment.
After removing the protective steel sheet on the
lower roll, clean both half bottom plates of all
silage residue.

Lack of pressure (liquid
incorporation system) -
motor is not running.
Dirty filters, electrical
connections, burnt fuse.
Clean both filters (nozzle / pump)
Clean - replace pump.
PROBLEM

No movement
(Non functions available).
Electrical supply has been
cut off.
Hydraulic supply has been
cut off.
Make sure the switch on the control box is set to
“ON” and box is connected to the battery (green
indicator light).
Make sure connector between tractor and Forage
Harvester is well connected.
Make sure safety valve of the feed hose on valve
manifold is open.
Activate the hydraulic valve of the tractor on valve
bloc (gray sleeve) in “continuous” mode.
Hoses or flow direction is reversed (pressure on
gray/red sleeve and return on gray sleeve).
Tractor valve flow is adjusted to zero.
Make sure there are no leaks on the valve
manifold.
One of the functions is not
available (i.e. the spout
deflector can be lifted, but
can’t be brought down).
One of the valves is
disconnected.
A hose if leaking.
Remove the guard on the valve bloc and make
sure sufficient voltage (12V) is available at the
connector of the faulty valve.
Check hoses, the cylinder or the hydraulic motor
for leaks.
Replace the faulty solenoid.
