FAULT FINDING
FAULT
REMEDY
1. Electric motor does not start although the start button is pressed and the selector switch is in
position 1, 2 or 3
Emergency stop button is stuck.
Pull up the button and re-start the engine with the
start button.
Fuse F1 blown. Replace the fuse (10A).
No mains supply (230 VAC) to the selector
switch. Check the extension cords, possible distribution
boards and fuses.
The fault current safety switch has tripped. Reset the fault current safety switch.
Voltage supply to the switch OK, but no
transmission forward.
Check the operation of the selector switch and
replace it, if necessary.
The power supply voltage both comes to the
selector switch and is fed further. Check the operation of the engine control
contactor and thermo-relay as well as the
operation of the relays which control the
operation of the contactors.
Telescope chain limit switch RK7 has
disconnected the contactor circuit. Check the operation of the RK 7 and readjust as
instructed in the picture on page 47.
The telescope chain limit switch RK15 has
actuated. Check the operation of the RK15 and adjust
according to instructions on page 47.
2. Electric motor starts normally as the startbutton is pushed, but it shuts down as soon as the
button is released
One or both stop-buttons have jammed or their
tips are open.
If the tip sticks out, open the housing cover and
reset the tip with tip of a screwdriver.
Spray moisture repellent and test the operation of
the button.
Close carefully the housing.
3. None of the platform movements is operational though the electric motor is running and the
selector switch is in position 2 or 3
Green signal light for outriggers is not lit.
Check operation of the safety limit switches
RK11, RK12, RK13 and RK14.
Check, whether the fault is in the electric system or in the hydraulic system.
