Replacing the Modem
1.
Connect the modem cable to the modem.
2.
Align the connector on the bottom of the modem with the modem connector on the system board, and press down on the "PRESS HERE" label on the
modem to connect it to the system board.
3.
Attach the modem to the system board with two M2 x 3-mm screws.
4.
Replace the frame (see

5.
Replace the processor thermal-cooling assembly (see

).
6.
Replace the video card/thermal-cooling assembly (see

).
7.
Replace the system fans (see

).
8.
Replace the hard drive(s) (see

9.
Replace the top cover (see

).
10.
Replace the cosmetic covers (see

).
11.
Firmly attach the keyboard to the computer and close the display (see

12.
Turn the computer upside down and replace the system battery (see
