(the default) — Sets the system to operate in the lowest performance mode possible. When
this option is selected, the SpeedStep tab of the Power Management Properties window will not be

— Allows the BIOS to set the system into either AC performance or Battery performance
mode at POST, based on AC availability.
Maximum Optimized AC
— Allows the BIOS to set the microprocessor to highest performance mode
possible, if the AC adapter is inserted.
Battery Optimized
— Allows the BIOS to set the microprocessor to the lowest performance mode
possible, if the AC adapter is inserted.
Suspend Time-out
Suspend Time-out
lets you determine how long your computer remains idle before activating suspend
mode to conserve battery power.
