System Module and Chassis Hardware
The system module and chassis, shown in Figure 5-1, provides
basic system functions. The system module and chassis are a
single unit that contains
Two diagnostic system ROMs
One Ethernet station address register (ESAR) chip
One SCSI controller with its own diagnostic ROM
One ThinWire Ethernet controller with its own diagnostic
ROM
Two communications line controllers
Three option module slots
Fifteen memory module slots
