Environment Variables Set by the System
Environment
Variable
Description
bitmap
Address in memory of a bitmap of good and bad memory
pages. You cannot change this variable by using the setenv
command.
bitmaplen
The bitmap’s length in words. You cannot change this
variable by using the setenv command.
inetaddr
System’s Internet address.
osconsole
Devices that were enabled when the system turned on. You
cannot change this variable by using the setenv command.
printenv Command
To display the system’s environment variables, use the printenv
command. Type printenv [evar], and press Return.
Replace evar with the exact name of an environment
variable about which you want information.
Include no parameter to display all environment variables.
This a sample printenv display of all environment variables:
baud2=1200
baud3=9600
bootpath=mop()/ms/lpx
testaction=q
haltaction=h
bootaction=m
