RAM Refresh Test
The RAM refresh test checks whether the RAM refresh process
is working. To run the RAM refresh test, type t 7/misc/rfrsh
and press Return.
RAM refresh test error messages
RAM refresh test error messages have the form
?TFL: 7/misc/rfrsh [(RTC)]
The message ?TFL 7/misc/rfrsh indicates that the RAM refresh
test reported an error.
A RAM refresh test error message without the (RTC ) error
description indicates that the refresh bit failed to toggle.
A RAM refresh test error message that includes the (RTC)
error description indicates that a timeout occurred while
the system was waiting for the RTC interrupt.
Overheat Detect Test
The overheat detect test checks whether the system unit is
overheating. To run the overheat detect test, type
t 7/misc/pstemp and press Return.
Overheat detect test error message
The only overheat detect test error message is
?TFL: 7/misc/pstemp (system is *HOT*),
which indicates that the system is probably overheating.
