Setting Environment Variables
Environment variables set system operating conditions.
Console commands allow you to display, set and remove
environment variables.
To display existing environment variables, use the printenv
command.
To set environment variables, use the setenv command.
To remove environment variables, use the unsetenv
command.
Table E-3 describes the environment variables that you can set.
In addition to environment variables you set, there are
environment variables set only by the system. These
environment variables are listed in Table E-4.
