a flow of at least 5 l/min. If the test fails,

Calibrate the A-FGC1.

The 02 test valve, the N

O
proportional valve and the N
2
O
needle valve remain open. The N
2
O/
Air selection solenoid is placed in
the Air position.
This test verifies that
selecting Air can shut
off the N
2
O flow.
The microprocessor in the Fresh Gas Control
unit de-energizes the N
2
O selection valve.
Looks for a flow through the sidegas
transducer. If there is still a flow, this
indicates that there is N
2
O flowing and it
has not switched to Air.
1 Check voltage to the N
2
O/Air solenoid
valve.
2. Replace the N
2
O/Air selection valve.
