10.7.1.2
Inserting the New Module
1.
Check for damage, especially to the rear connector on the new
module. Make sure the power switch is turned off.

AUTION
:
Handle the module carefully and avoid damaging the
connector pins. Do not install the module if any pins appear to be bent.
2.
Disengage the latches and swing open the handle
(Figure 66)
.
3.
Slide the module into the bay
(Figure 67)
. Note the orientation of
the module in right hand bay (Bay 1) which should be “upside
down”.
4.
Cam the module home by manually closing the handle. A click
should be heard as the latches engage.
5.
Connect the power cord and turn on the power switch.

OTE
:
The alarm will sound until the new power supply/cooling
module is operating correctly.

Ops Panel
The Ops Panel is an integral part of the enclosure chassis assembly and
is not field replaceable.
