Alarm conditions trigger an event message that displays in the event
log.
Figure 60
shows the temperature and voltage thresholds for each alarm
and how to resolve the problem.
To enable or disable the alarm:
1.
From SAM, select
Manage EF2800

General Config
>
Audio Alarm
.
The Audio Alarm page displays.
2.
Select the alarm option you want.
3.
Click
Change Configuration
.

What to do when the alarm sounds
EF2800 internal temperature
• Warning: 0°C to 4°C and
66°C to 70°C
• Shutdown: <0°C and >70°C
• Check SAM to confirm what the
alarm means by clicking
Event Log
on any page.
• Check the ambient temperature and
lower it, if needed. Ambient
temperature should be less than
40°C.
• Check that the
EF2800
has good
airflow clearance.
SM CPU temperature
• Warning: 0°C to 4°C and
91°C to 100°C
• Shutdown: <0°C and >100°C
• Same as above.
