If you are having a problem with the EF2800 or an array, check
the event log before calling technical support. Event messages may let you
resolve the problem without calling. You should also refer to
Chap

.
You can view the event information four ways by clicking the buttons
at the top of the Event Log page:
• All events for both SM modules (up to 400 events)
• Events for just SM module A (up to 200 events)
• Events for just SM module B (up to 200 events)
• Only error events (includes only warning and error events)
You can also save the event log to a file (see Section
7.4
on
page 112
).
To view the event log:
1.
From SAM, select
Monitor EF2800
>
Status
>
View Event Log
or
click the Event Log link near the bottom of every SAM page.
The Event Log page displays with the combined event table
(Figure 59)
.
2.
Click a button at the top of the page for the view of the event log
you want.
E/W Column: Blank indicates an information event;
“W” indicates a warning event; “E” indicates an error event
