Please note the trigger snapshot has the higher priority than regular snapshot. If you have enabled
these two types at the same time, system can activate the trigger snapshot when an alarm occurs,
and otherwise system just operates the regular snapshot.
Only the trigger snapshot supports this function. The regular snapshot function can not send out
picture via the email. But user may upload the picture to a FTP.
3.11.3
Motion Detect Record/Snapshot
3.11.3.1 Motion detect record
a) From Main menu->Setting->Event->Video detect, user may go to the following interface. See
Figure 3-69.

b) Select a channel from the dropdown list and then check the enable button to enable motion
detect function.
c) Click Region Click select button, the interface is shown as in Figure 3-70. Here user may set
motion detection zone. There are four zones for you to set. Please select a zone first and then
left drag the mouse to select a zone. The corresponding color zone displays different detection
zone. User may click Fn button to switch between the arm mode and disarm mode. In arm mode,
user may click the direction buttons to move the green rectangle to set the motion detection
zone. After you completed the setup, please click ENTER button to exit current setup. Do
remember click save button to save current setup. If you click ESC button to exit the region
setup interface system will not save your zone setup.
