config ipif
Purpose
Used to configure an IP interface on the switch.
Syntax
config ipif <ipif_name 12> [{ipaddress <network_address> | vlan <vlan_name
32> |state [enable|disable]} |boot|dhcp |ipv6
[ipv6address<ipv6networkaddr>|state [enable| disable]] |ipv4 state [enable |
disable] |dhcpv6_client [enable|disable]]
Description
This command is used to configure the IP interface on the Switch.
Parameters
ipif
- The name of the IP interface.
ipaddress
- The IP address and netmask of the IP interface to be created. Specify the
address and mask information using the traditional format (for example,
10.1.2.3/255.0.0.0 or in CIDR format, 10.1.2.3/16).
vlan
- The name of the VLAN corresponding to the IP interface.
state
- Enable or disable the IP interface.
enable
- Enable the IP interface.
disable
- Disable the IP interface.
bootp
- Allows the selection of the BOOTP protocol for the assignment of an IP
address to the switch’s System IP interface.
dhcp
- Allows the selection of the DHCP protocol for the assignment of an IP address
