show port_security
Purpose
Used to display the current port security configuration.
Syntax
show port_security_entry {ports [<portlist> | all ] { [ vlan <vlan_name> | vlanid
<vidlist>] }}
Description
This command is used to display port security information of the Switch’s ports. The
information displayed includes port security, admin state, maximum number of
learning address and lock mode.
Parameters
<portlist>

Specifies a port or range of ports to be viewed.
vlan
– The port security entries learned on the specified VLANs will be cleared.
vlanid
– Specifies a list of VLANs by their VLAN ID.
Restrictions
None.
Example usage:
To display the port security configuration:
DGS-3700-12:5#show port_security ports 1-5
Command: show port_security ports 1-5

enable port_security trap_log
Purpose
Used to enable the trap/log for port security.
Syntax
enable port_security trap_log
Description
This command is used to enable port security traps/logs. When this command is
enabled, if there's a new MAC that violates the pre-defined port security
configuration, a trap will be sent out with the MAC and port informationt and the
relevant information will be logged.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable the port security trap/log setting:
