config sntp
Purpose
Used to setup SNTP service.
Syntax
config sntp {primary <ipaddr> | secondary <ipaddr> | poll-interval <int 30-
99999>}
Description
This command is used to configure SNTP service from an SNTP server. SNTP must
be enabled for this command to function (See enable sntp).
Parameters
primary
−
This is the primary server from which the SNTP information will be taken.
<ipaddr>
−
The IP address of the primary server.
secondary
−
This is the secondary server the SNTP information will be taken from in
the event the primary server is unavailable.
<ipaddr>
−
The IP address for the secondary server.
poll-interval <int 30-99999>
−
This is the interval between requests for updated
SNTP information. The polling interval ranges from 30 to 99,999 seconds.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command. SNTP service
must be enabled for this command to function (
enable sntp
).
Example usage:
To configure SNTP settings:
