disable voice_vlan
Syntax
disable voice_vlan
Description
This command is used to disable the voice VLAN function on a Switch. When the
voice VLAN function is disabled, the voice VLAN will become unassigned.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable voice VLAN:
DGS-3700-12:5#disable voice_vlan
Command: disable voice_vlan
Success.
DGS-3700-12:5#
config voice_vlan priority
Purpose
To configure the priority of the voice VLAN.
Syntax
config voice_vlan priority <int 0-7>
Description
This command is used to configure voice VLAN priority. The voice VLAN priority
will be the priority associated with the voice VLAN traffic to distinguish the QoS
of the voice traffic from data traffic.
Parameters
<int 0-7>
- Specify the priority of the voice VLAN. The range is 0 to 7. The default
priority is 5.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To set the priority of the voice VLAN to be six:
DGS-3700-12:5#config voice_vlan priority 6
Command: config voice_vlan priority 6
Success.
DGS-3700-12:5#
config voice_vlan oui
Purpose
To configure the user-defined OUI of the voice device for voice VLAN.
Syntax
config voice_vlan oui [add <macaddr> < macmask> {description <desc 32> } |
delete <macaddr> < macmask> ]
Description
This command is used to configure the user-defined voice traffic’s OUI. The OUI is
used to identify the voice traffic. There are a number of pre-defined OUIs. The user
can further define the user-defined OUIs if needed. The user-defined OUI cannot be
the same as the pre-defined OUI. The following are the pre-defined voice traffic’s
OUI:
