Vehicle engine - Power take-off
for Iveco vehicle.
If possible, position the vehicle next to the work point
to be reached and prepare the lifting platform:
- Leave the engine of the vehicle running.
- Pull the park brake.
- Position the gear in neutral.
- From the vehicle's control panel
P1
positioned at
the side of the steering wheel, insert the
PTO
by
means of the
PTO
selector. The yellow light will turn
on.
- The light
H1
on the cabin control panel
P2
will be
on.
- Position the magnetic spotlight
HR1
on the truck
roof and activate it inserting the connector in the
lighter plug.
- Adjust engine revs by means of the vehicle's manual
regulator at a speed of about
900/ 1000 rpm
. Some
vehicles have automatic adjustment and therefore it
is not needed.
The engine start and stop control is also located in
the basket (
selector SC8
).
ATTENTION
Before starting any manoeuvre
(in cold weather), it is advisable
to idle the oleodynamic plant
pump for a few minutes, so that
the oil reaches the minimum
operating temperature (about 40°)
to allow it to flow correctly.
