Control system chain tension adjustment
SAFETY DEVICE’S FUNCTIONAL TEST
-
The loosening or braking of one of the chains is detected by a microswitch (see pic. A and B),
that will block the extension manouvres.
In that case it is necessary to immediately contact an authorized workshop CTE to change the
chains or to replace the chain links.
The verification of the status of the chains that extend
the boom telescopic elements is possible by checking
visually the chains during the phase of boom returns
(see the Section H - Maintenance - chains)
