Spanning tree function
Specifies whether to use the spanning tree function. The factory
default setting is “Enable”.
Priority
The priority for this AP’s spanning tree. Lower values have
higher priority. Changing the priority causes the route bridge
settings to be reset for all bridges in the network. Specify a value
in the range “0” to “65535”. The factory default setting is
“32768”.
BPDU aging time and send interval
The BPDU aging time specifies the maximum length of time that
the AP can use data extracted from the BPDU before discarding the
data. Set a value in the range “6” to “40” seconds. The factory
default setting is “20 seconds”.
The BPDU send interval specifies the time interval between
sending BPDUs when the AP is part of a spanning tree route or is
attempting to establish a route. Set a value in the range “1” to
“10” seconds. The factory default setting is “2 seconds”.
Transfer delay time
This is the time until changing from the Blocking to the Forwarding
state. Set a value in the range “1” to “255” seconds. The factory
default setting is “15 seconds”.
Relative cost
The relative costs assigned to the AP’s wireless and wired port.
The lower the cost assigned to a port the more likely the port is to
be accessed. Set a value in the range “1” to “65535”. The
factory default settings are “500” for the wireless port and “100” for
the wired port.
The IEEE802.1D standard recommends setting the values as
follows.
COST=1000/Attached LAN Speed in Mbps
